ACU Invites You to MakerFest 2018

Abilene Christian University is hosting the 2018 Maker Fest at the ACU Maker Lab, this week, on Thursday, April 5, from 3pm to 7pm. They are inviting area STEM teacher and their families to come learn and get inspired. Maker Fest is their largest annual event of the year and this year is shaping up to be their biggest Maker Fest yet.  They'll have tool demonstrations, hands-on activities and project presentations that everyone will enjoy. Everything is FREE, including the popcorn. :-)

The Maker Lab is located in the same building on ACU's campus as the Library.

WOW 8-12 students toward careers at free World of Work Youth Expo

Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas, and Region 14 ESC are partnering to host the "World of Work Youth Expo," Tuesday, October 20th.  The event runs from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM as a come-and-go event.  There is no cost for you or your students to attend.  Register at: https://www.workforcesystem.org/wow   The event features keynote speaker Gabe Salazar, 100+ engaging exhibits, and mock interviews for High School Seniors.
