The Texas Tech University Society of Women Engineers (SWE) will host, "Catch the Engineering Bug" again this year -- a free event for 6th-8th grade girls. Held at Texas Tech University on Saturday, November 11, 2017, the event begins at 9:30am and ends at 4:00pm. Girls will spend a day learning about the field of engineering and participating in exciting activities. Each participant will receive a free t-shirt and free lunch. Space is limited, so send in a registration form as soon as possible, by emailing it to EngineeringBug@gmail.com by Friday October 27, 2017.
#Collegiance celebrates high school students making their college decision by encouraging them to pledge their #Collegiance on Instagram. Those who create an original and creative Instagram video, Boomerang, or photo will be entered for a chance to win one of 10 cash prizes. The winners will be selected by media and film professors from College Board member institutions. Student submissions are due on May 15, 2018.
