TEKS Resource System Unit Assessments and STAAR Items Update

Many districts in our area use TEKS Resource System (TRS) unit assessment items. If your district makes tests using Edupohoria, some updates to item numbers may affect your test creation process.  TRS assessment items are entered into Eduphoria Aware by staff at Region 10, which works to have all of the items entered for each unit before the unit is scheduled to be taught.  Region 10 is notified when TRS adds or makes changes to items and works to make those changes in Aware as soon as possible.   They currently have all of the Unit 1 assessments items entered and available in Aware.

Remember when searching for the TRS Unit tests in Aware, please use the keyword "unit#" with the # representing the actual number of the unit.  The year is not necessary for the 2017 units.

Region 10 is in the process of entering items from the 16/17 STAAR tests, and should be finished by 9/15/17.  The keywords to search for these STAAR items will be "STAAR 2017".  This keyword does include the space.

If you are making assessments in Eduphoria, watch for these changes in item numbers, which may be why your not able to see any items in the system. If you need further assistance with Eduphoria, contact your regional ESC for assistance.
